About me

With over 20 years of experience, Kevin has been leading and launching effective, award-winning campaigns in all forms of digital and traditional media. As Group Creative Director, Kevin works with the Chicago and New York offices to deliver award winning work for Mcgarrybowen clients. Most recently, he created the campaign that won the American Express Global business for the New York office. He has influenced many large pieces of business including, Marriott, Sears, JCPenney, and United Airlines. Currently he leads creative on American Express, Oscar Mayer, Marriott, and the US Open Tennis accounts.

Previously, Kevin worked at the Martin Agency, leading global efforts on the UPS “What Can Brown Do For You” and “Whiteboard” campaigns while also creating the GEICO “Caveman” and “Gecko” campaigns. Over the years, he has spearheaded many multi-dimensional campaigns while transforming some of the most iconic brands. A few of them include, Walmart, The Ritz-Carlton, CNN, and Comcast's Xfinity.

Kevin’s work has gained national and international recognition with numerous One Show pencils, Communication Arts awards, Effies, D&AD, Athenas, and even a VH1-Top Ten Music Video.

When not working, he spends most of his time dashing between sports fields, auditoriums and theaters with his three children and his wife.

 

What I'm about

I can play the drums, ukulele and a little bit of piano.

Can’t sing though.

Hip-Hop to Country to Alternative. I listen to it all.

Love eating healthy food when I try to.

And unhealthy food when I don't try to.

Animals are cool. Have dogs, a cat, a hamster, and a fish.

Kids are cooler. Have 2 daughters and 1 son.

I can fix things around the house. And build things. And deconstruct things like iPhones, engines, computers, bikes, furniture, lamps.

Then put them back together and they actually work.

Looking for the next great series on Netflix, HBO, or elsewhere. Documentaries too.

Having a taco truck is still a dream that keeps replaying.

I’m not really a car guy. More of an outdoors guy. And sports and movie guy.

Yardwork is therapeutic. Or maybe just sweating and being outdoors is.

I can solve problems. Big, messy, complicated ones.

Laughing is fun. Working with people you really like is fun.
